In my earlier entry…I have mentioned I went to Freiburg (dati naming residensiya) to attend the first holy communion of my friend’s daughter. I did not mention anything before about the gathering dahil wala akong nakitang bagay na dapat isulat. But yesterday, my best friend Jojo called me and we chatted about everything and lastly about the communion party (na naging controversial pala).
Two weeks na ang nakalipas pero talk of the town pa rin pala ang mga pangyayaring naganap doon. Actually, the first holy communion is a family event. But our friend Benita wanted to celebrate it grand kaya around 250 guest and invited niya. The gathering was held in a local gymnasium. There was a Filipino band and along with that, she also invited numbers of Filipinas to perform some dances (kasama na si yours truly doon and cousin). Ayaw ko sanang sumayaw dahil ubod ng sikip ang aking costume and besides almost five years na akong hindi naka pag perform. Anyways, dahil sa sobrang kulit nitong Benita I ended up saying yes. I immediately call my cousin who live in Bern (Switzerland) and asked her if she can meet me in Freiburg para dumalo sa party at sabay sayaw na rin. She was one of our dance group member kaya mas madaling magpractice dahil pareho naming alam ang figures ng sayaw na balak kong ipalabas.
My gush! It took us three hours bago namin na perfect ang sayaw na La Jota Mocandeña at Estudiyantina. Jojo came at around 4:00 P.M and I handed her the cassettes for our dance dahil siya ang appointed na MC. She showed me the program list and we were supposively the last to perform. Biglang tumaas ang kilay ko kaya kami na ang pinauna niya and she told me she was not the one responsible kundi yong isang TH na belly dancer.
At 5:00 P.M we were behind the stage. Ready and waiting for our turn my cousin and I were watching others busy preparing for their show. She said in an ill manner: “Oh kaninong anak ba yan?” Somebody behind answered: “Kay Beng.” She turned to me sabay sabing: “Beng why don’t you find someone to take care of him, that boy is distructing me.” I answered here in sarcastic way naman: “He won’t be here if I found one and by all means you’re only changing your clothes and not memorizing a piece of poem so why the hell is he distructing you?” Ha! I made her shut her mouth.
I am not exaggerating ha but there were 10 or 11 belly dances performed, iba pa yong Tahitian and Hawaiian dance at ang pinaka peak sa show ay yong isang babaeng para ng nag striptease. They should know it for they are not new here in Germany.
Well sabagay, there are people who has no decency at all at hindi marunong mag-isip. What count and what is important to them ay yong ma expose at mapansin sila no matter how.
