Winter Is Here Again

The winter season is here again and you may not believe me but winter has always been my favorite time of year. Not only because it is close to Christmas but because it is the season with the most variety of clothes to wear. Sure that’s shallow, but summer is much more simplistic in its fashion with a selection of tank tops, shirts, shorts and sandals. On winter, however…you have your pants, jeans, long skirts, boots, weather resistant shoes, sweaters, turtlenecks, long-sleeve shirts, blouses, cardigans, heavy coats, leather jackets. The selection is endless and I haven’t even mentioned the accessories.

The hardest thing about winter is how to stay comfortable in different environments, basically being outside dealing with the weather or inside adjusting to a heated room. The best combination I’ve always used for wintertime is a knitwear or a sweater and a heavy coat, the one you saw on my previous entry. This outfit can deal with any situation. Just because winter is upon us doesn’t mean it is time to pass the winter in a dormant or torpid state. So how about you guys is your wardrobe winter ready? It is time to check out or take out your winter clothings from the box now and have at least some of it available. It only takes a few items to update your look, so keep cool. Get out all your winter clothes from where you hide them and mix up those what you have and get creative!

No idea yet? Okay, here are some essential items that will keep you warm and of course looking fashionable through the colder months. Jumper - is one of the must have item for the season. Sweater - is good at everything it sets out to be, with great wind insulation and warmth. Jacket – is perfect for the days where coat is too much. Knitwear - is always big in winter too, and there are plenty of styles to suit. And oh, please don’t forget that a good pair of denim jeans will suit any season.

As much as I like the fashion for Winter, I am a hater for this weather. Flu.

Hello Beng!

Oo nga, winter na naman, katakot-takot na namang damit ang isusuot para talagang masabi kong hindi ako lalamigin.

Have a nice weekend!

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure…than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. — Theodore Roosevelt
