Knoiz, how much are you paying right now? You said TEST, does that mean you are currently using it for free?
I’d like to know big is your storage/web space right now? Just want to know so I can make you a custom package, suited to your needs of course. Once I get the information from you, I have to make a calculation first then I’ll tell you how much :-D

On the contrary, I signed up for a hosting account to TEST if it’s worth using for blogs. And it’s cool. I think it’s only 3.0megabandwith, whatever you call it, is allowed. I exceeded almost more than that a month and extras are being paid thereafter. In other words, it’s not cheap. May I ask, how much is it to host an account/domain for a year? I still wanna keep my own domain name in case I consider signing a package from your hosting service, say concubine rates (friend’s rate)? I know you love me.:blush:

I will let you know. I’m calling techie support but since it’s holiday, I’ll try to find the file transfer myself, patience is always a virtue you know. I will email you soon if there’s any problem. Okidoks?

Meanwhile, I’m sad that I can’t get to the admin page & there are comments waiting for moderation. I think I’m the “luckiest” person this Christmas.

Safe Mode is off and mode_rewrite is allowed as well. :-D

Hi Ate,

I got the “test” database in my phpAdmin. I tried it, and it worked. However, since my access site are not valid for re-write thus I can’t make any new PAGES (I can only use page worked as eg: “knoizki/?id=1″. On the other hand, I’m trying to copy the wp files from old database to “test” database.

In case I needed that setup, I’ll wait till the holidays and we can talk about it. THANKS very MUCH ate.

I update my blog to the latest version few days ago and I was no longer able to login in the Admin CP after that. I have tried several solution I could think of to retrieve my password…even reset it through sending lost password via login area but nothing happened. I had no database backup as well, so I was in panic. Luckily, I have a TEST blog installed…so what I did is copied the wp-user data there, then I emptied my lukaret “wp-user” and drop the other one. And voila…I’m up and running again.

In your case…your “wp-usermeta” no longer exist in your database…I think it has been erased after you upgraded. I can repair it for you. All I need is your “phpmyadmin” access data, if you trust me. kindly send it to me via email beng.hafner@lukaret.com

I do not rely on Wordpress Support because it takes long for them to answer your quiries. I had been fixinng all errors I encountered on my own.

Hi Ate, I don’t know if I made a back up of my previous 1.5.2 version but I still have my plugins & themes stored in my database. After downloading & installing the WP2 RC3 version, it appears that the Categories aren’t anymore showing. On log-in, after entering password, hitting enter, it gives me an error message below: (So I can’t get into my DASHBOARD, etc)

WordPress database error: [Table 'knoizki_index.wp_usermeta' doesn't exist]

I don’t know what these are but I i’ve been re-installing everything out to fix the bugs. If you visit my blog, it shows under the “links” page. Also, the comment counts are not showing.

If I can’t make it fix, I’d just delete everything out and back to EMPTY blog again.

I don’t think the WP Forum are directing you with a suitable answer. I was trying to share the problems but none was complying.
