Work Progress
Maintaining two active site is sometimes a burden. I spent two sleeples nights just to find the bug of the gallery script I am using. The standalone gallery was installed and running perfectly well. Yikes, it shows error warning all the time when I want to access my Gallery from the main site. The problem was caused by a certain “constant” of the script that actually embeds the standalone gal to the main site. Oh well, ano ba itong pinagsasabi ko dito…I am sure some of you doesn’t know what I’m talking about kaya I’m not going to deepen this topic. Hindi sa nagmamayabang ako but you see I am a noob when it comes to PHP. But after several attemps of modifying the script…naging successful din ako. Hahaha, naka tsamba!!! So let me show you my work naman para malaman at makita niyo ang nabanggit kong HEADACHE.

Hindi pa dito magtatapos ang kuwentuhan. I encountered another problem as I installed the “Recipe Component”. Actually ayoko ko na sanang maglagay nito, kaya lang naisip ko na why should I change the concept of my site? The former Barakada-Network was launched last March 3, 2004, I had more than 50 members already before na laging binabalikan ang Recipes Section. So I decided to add this feature again para sa kanila. There are two that exist but not well developed. Mambo developer or some of them promised to create a new version since two months ago but there’s no progress until now. Kaya I started adding recipes in my site as an article. Since I was not really contented with this option. I downloaded one of the available component (which is not compatible to the Mambo version I am using) pero ginawa ko pa rin. It looks very promising sa simula. Everything was there, kaya lang when I started adding recipes and saved them. Voila…there appears no entry in the frontpage. Well, it was the built-in editor this time ang walang function. Okay, hocus-focus-fedibus…kalikot dito at kalikot doon…tapos! Now it’s working like a charm

Well, medyo matagal nga lang but it’s my sariling sikap.
P.S
I have just noticed that the template looks messy when you view Gallery with Firefox browser. Grrrr! Gallery template needs adjustment. :headache:
