Hate It Or Love It

People feel strongly about garlic. They either love its lingering aroma or hate its pungent odor. It’s no wonder, then, that folkloric shamans prescribed a necklace of garlic to ward off vampires.

Garlic’s renowned pungent smell comes from its sulfur-rich compounds, which are excreted through the lungs.

But garlic is more than pantakot kay Dracula. A lot of people like me use garlic in cooking without knowing that this herb has quite a few medicinal uses.

Garlic is known to

- help alleviate rheumatism - I really have to eat plenty for early prevention, para kaya kong habulin ang aking mga apo pagtanda ko.

Like aspirin, garlic has certain qualities that thin the blood. By preventing platelets from banding together, garlic may keep the circulatory system healthy. Garlic can do this without any of the discomfort or other problems associated with aspirin.

Garlic may eliminate many of the symptoms associated with yeast infections, which include fatigue, disorientation and depression.

O kita niyo na very useful talaga ang garlic di ba? So you may love it or hate it, garlic can help protect your body from more than just keeping vampires or unwanted suitors….at bay.

I love putting garlic in anything I cook.

Huwag kalimutan.

garlic has many therapeutic effects. it was said to lower cholesterol that’s why maybe it is also suggested that hypertensive people take two pcs of garlic each meal para bumaba ang alta presyon. kaya lang, kahirap naman siguro lunukin ang isang bawang lalo na pag malaki!

garlic can also be used for malingering… kunwari me lagnat ka LOL - basta ipahid mo lang sa liki-liki mo ang dinikdik na garlic!

I love garlic. But I make sure that everyone else in the family eats with me otherwise, they’d surely complain about the smell.
